FootJoy Product Launch Campaign The #1 Shoe in Golf. FootJoy is constantly innovating its product line to retain their title. Nathaniel Howe Studios worked with FootJoy to live scan and 3D model their newest footwear lineup, then partnered with FootJoy's agency of record - Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners - to generate a series of animated featurettes to generate buzz around each shoe ahead of official retail release. The final result was 4x :15 Featurettes of the Packard & Hyperflex shoes which demonstrated FootJoy's uncompromising balance between craftsmanship and technology, style and comfort, fit and function.
Product Launch Sizzles HYPERFLEX: BOA + FLEX We kicked off the collaboration with BSSP by generating over a hundred greyscale animatics looking at the various motion patterns and queues in their scripts - First focusing on focusing on the all-new Hyperflex shoe.
Product Launch Sizzles PACKARD: SOLE + STYLE Further collaborating with BSSP, we cafted a series of motion explorations for the DryJoys Premiere Series Packard shoe. Upon identifying selects, NHS provided full HD color render files and continued to massage motion key frames as the edits approached final lock.
Product Launch Sizzles PROCESS: Recreating Reality With the live products in hand, our team used photogrammetry to create digital scans of each shoe and then worked layer by layer in Maya to create 360 information for the shoe upper, sole, outsole, footbed, heel clips details, lacing, and so on. FootJoy creates shoes that not only speak to performance and comfort but also style and refined craftsmanship - and our team worked diligently to preserve their authenticity.
