ESPN SEC Saturday Night ESPN approached us to create eye-catching graphics for the SEC Network’s “Saturday Night Football” broadcast. These games are played under the lights with a primetime sensibility, resulting in passionate and intense match-ups in the SEC conference. Our bright, bold design made each stadium and college town as iconic as the teams themselves. Final delivery was a 3D neon lights on-air graphics package with complete modularity to sustain season-long match-ups and was compatible with their Flame workflow.

Process: Team colors shining their brightest Because these SEC games were at night games, we knew illumination was going to be a big character in our art direction. First, we dimensionalized the 2D team logo art in 3D. Next, we took it a step further by painstakingly lining intricate networks of neon tubing along each logo surface. The result? A series of electrified iconic team logos that any true fan wishes they could have illuminating their own personal man cave.
DESIGN PROCESS: Drumming up some team spirit We believe in the design process. That means dedicating time to explore curiosities, and playing freely in design. It also sometimes means unexpected turns along the way that ultimately leads us to the heart of every creative challenge. No matter a project scope, our process is always the same, and it always starts with design.
