HLN is popular for its daytime news coverage on a variety of subjects, including national, regional, lifestyle and entertainment stories, but the network also airs powerful investigative and mystery programs at night - and how best to brand those programming hours than with new network ID's?

We partnered with The Amy Palmer Group, with whom NHS also collaborated on HLN's promo campaign for the new season of Death Row Stories. These ID's were inspired by the sensory aspects of crime; elements such as lighting, forensics, evidential pieces and more all played a key role throughout the design process. The team at Syn also did an incredible job truly elevating those themes through sound design and music. These ID's establish HLN as the choice destination for investigation & mystery programming, and creatively convey to viewers the importance HLN places on thorough analysis around crime. Final deliverables for on-air included multiple :10 ID's as well as :05 cutdowns.
